Ibn Gabirol was an Andalusian
Jew poet,
philosopher and mystic who, despite his early death, left behind poems of a
deep beauty, loaded with uncompromising prophetic wisdom of the Jewish people. This master of the Science of Love may be a fellow traveler, a witness, a helper to you can get inside yourself, against inner emptiness that produces the modern obsession with being out of oneself
or closed in oneself.
And nothing better for these poems than
the Sephardic music, played by Eduardo Paniagua, Jorge Rozemblum and Wafir Sheik (a Christian, a Jew and a Muslim, promising combination!) with lead vocals by Jorge Rozemblum in songs and recitation of Grian, a company that you can see, listen and feel in a live poetic concert that these four artists are offering now in
Spain.
